Photography found me at eleven when my mother handed me her classic Pentax 35mm film.
That early passion ultimately led to The Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara and a life of a visual craftsman - spanning the studios of Los Angeles, the streets of New York, Paris, Milan, the countryside of Haiti, the pages of magazines, and more.
I started as an actor — my first feature premiered at Sundance — then I moved behind the camera as a photographer and then as a writer and director. I've sold projects to Lionsgate, Amazon Studios, LD Entertainment, Hazy Mills and more. I’ve directed multiple episodes of television and my short films and playwriting have won awards. I'm based at my Surf Shack Studio in Santa Monica. The light is fantastic here and the atmosphere is relaxed and creative.
